Ivory, The New White

Every year more and more brides are choosing to use ivory over white. Be it as the color of their wedding gown or in their decor.  Ivory has become the “New White”.
Being in the décor business we get as many requests for ivory linens as we do for white. And that’s because brides are learning that ivory can enhance their wedding day design & décor in so many ways.
Ivory as the backdrop of your spring wedding helps to enhance the beauty and softness of the pinks, and pale greens in a pastel colored wedding palette.

Ivory helps to ground the boldness of fuchsia and orange, colors often used in a summer wedding palette.

Ivory also helps to enhance the richness of the reds, browns and terracotta colors often used in fall wedding palettes.

So, if you prefer ivory over white, be it in the color of your wedding dress or your wedding day décor, go for it. As long as your love for each other is pure and white on your wedding day, you can use as much ivory as you choose.
